Welcome to Kid Zone

We love having little ones in the church! We know they are the future of Christ's Kingdom. We want to provide them with the opportunity to meet Jesus early in their lives. Our programming for kids introduces them to Jesus and then nurtures that relationship with gradually deeper teaching as they get older.

Sunday School & Kid's Church
Sunday mornings

Our Sunday School & Kid's Church curriculum is through Wonder Ink. We believe one of the most important things about Kids Ministry is that it’s not just for Sunday. With Wonder Ink, parents have access to more resources and can follow along with what their kid(s) are learning through the parent portal. You are invited to join our online portal where you can do activities at home with your kids! Click this link to register and get access.

What is Awana?
AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed," a reference to 2 Timothy 2:15: "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth." (NIV)

Awana is a fun and dynamic Bible-based program that focuses on teaching children about God’s Word through engaging activities, scripture memorization, and exciting games. It’s a place where kids can learn about Jesus in a loving, safe, and nurturing environment.

Who can join?
Awana is open to children PreK through 5th Grade. Our program is divided into different age groups to ensure that each child receives age-appropriate teaching and activities:

Cubbies (Ages 3-5):

  • Preschoolers learn foundational truths about God and His love for them through stories, songs, and play.

Sparks (Grades K-2):

  • Younger elementary children explore the Bible with a focus on key characters and events, while also beginning to memorize scripture.

T&T (Truth & Training) (Grades 3-5):

  • Older children dive deeper into God’s Word, developing a stronger understanding of the Bible and how to apply it to their lives.
Awana Schedule
Awana meets every Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:00pm with dinner served from 6:00pm-6:30pm. The program runs from September through April.

Each evening consists of:

  • Handbook Time (30m): Kids work with their leaders to recite verses they’ve memorized. Leaders also help children understand key Bible verses that teach them how to know and follow God. Awards are given to children who complete sections in their handbooks.
  • Council Time (30m): The kids from each club gather to hear a Bible story and learn about character traits that honor God.
  • Game Time (30m): Children learn teamwork and sportsmanship in team competitions in the AWANA Games Circle.
