George and Eileen oversee the LAFF (Life After Fifty-Five) ministry as well lead the Marriage Mentoring team.
Eileen was a teacher for forty years and is now retired. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics Education. George is a counselor with Christian Counseling Services. He grew up on a dry land farm in Custer County and attended schools at Gates, Broken Bow, Sargent, and Kearney. He has a Bachelor's degree in psychology, a Master's in counseling, and a specialist in school psychology. He has worked at the Youth Development Center in Kearney and Geneva, psychologist at the Nebraska Center for Women in York, program director at Epworth Village in York, and school psychologist for the McCook Schools and ESU 15.
They have three grown children, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, and five grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and have been to all fifty states and 19 foreign countries. They have been members of MEFC for 36 years and have held various leadership roles throughout the years
